Method of preparation
Preheat oven to 220-250 ℃. Apply oil and water on the baking tray and then place the handmade PARNASSOS Chicken Roll. Bake for about 1 hour. Along with the chicken roll, you can also bake potatoes. . They will take the same amount of time as the chicken and will get the flavors of the roll.
If you want something more original instead of potatoes, slice vegetables such as zucchini, colourful peppers, eggplant and mushrooms. Those vegetables take more time to cook than the chicken so put them in the oven half an hour before the chicken roll.
Another great idea is pasta kritharaki, (small crumps of dry pasta) and chopped tomato.
Add 1 tablespoon olive oil in the frying pan. When is hot enough, pour chopped onions and fry them lightly. Sauté your chicken roll by turning it until it is colored on all sides and turn it off with white wine or brandy.
Add spices like oregano or thyme, add some water and cook for about an hour.
Remove the yarn from the baked roll and slice it. Serve it with potatoes, vegetables, pasta crumbs. It is perfectly accompanied with mustard but can support any bold sauce combination eg. honey and lemon. Release your imagination, create your sauce.
